Safe Amp Feasibility Study

The Safe Amplification Site Society is a youth-led non-profit that is working to establish a permanent all-ages venue in Vancouver.

I was asked to design a 176-page feasibililty study thas was comissioned by the City of Vancouver. The report needed to be technical — it includes many charts, figures and diagrams — yet still reflect the organization’s youthfulness.

I was hired to create the design, illustrations and layout for the 13th volume of w49, Langara College's magazine of poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction.

I was also asked to update the magazine's logo to a more modern, streamlined design.

Ailsa Links Logo & Website

Ailsa Links is a small startup environmental consulting business.

They needed a versatile one-colour logo and a crisp, straightforward three-page website. The website was built on WordPress so that it can be easily updated by the client. It is mobile-ready.

Canzine Promo Package

A proposed set of promotional materials for Canzine Festival of Zines and Alternative Culture. Package includes a poster/program cover, bookmark, and bookbag.

Pacific Rim Magazine

I contributed design, illustrations and layout for the 2009 edition of Pacific Rim Magazine. I was responsible for a four-page feature section on the environment, which was specially printed on 100% recycled paper.

I also created a pen and ink illustration for a story about Japan's Sayama forest, as assigned by the magazine's Art Director.

Ask Her Talks Identity & Website

The Ask Her Talks is a speaker series that gives the podium to five African women experts who speak about what happens when crises strike, and the role of a philanthropic response.

In consultation with my colleages at the Stephen Lewis Foundation, I developed the brand identity for the Talks, and built a custom WordPress theme to house the frequently changing content.
